Insurance Basics

Learn how insurance works in the United States: risk and how insurers share it, the parts of a policy, life and health insurance, property and casualty insurance (auto, home, business), claims, and how the industry is regulated. A basics course in simple English — a good first step before a state-approved pre-licensing course, or simply to understand your own coverage.

  • 12 lessons in 4 units
